Shauna Holiman is a multi-faceted artist who works in the Fine Arts, Performing Arts, and Literature. She is an award-winning painter of portraits and other subjects in oil and mixed media and her innovative, modern stained glass is included in the Glastar Gallery collection. She has sung solo recitals, operas, oratorios and cabaret in the United States and abroad and was a finalist in such competitions as the Liederkranz, MidAmerica, and the Metropolitan Opera Auditions.Her current vocal project is “Modern Love, Dieting & Addictions and…Other Considerations” an hilarious Cocktail Hour Concert of Musical Comedy and Other Popular Songs. Shauna’s poems and opera libretti have been set to music by numerous composers and her recent concert of spoken poems and new songs at Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall, which included a world premiere, a New York premiere and settings of her own poems, was a critically acclaimed, sold out event. A graduate of Columbia Business School (MBA), she writes business plans for not-for-profit organizations on a free-lance basis and has consulted on a wide variety of artistic and creative projects.
