Megan Ferrell is an award winning art director and graphic designer with over 20 years experience in the commercial art world. She is a graduate of the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York. Megan specializes in advertising, marketing/brand development, photography and collateral/print design.
Art has been a lifelong pursuit for Megan. She has won numerous awards and recognition for her artwork, from childhood to the present. Born in Nutley, NJ, (famous for being the childhood home of Martha Stewart) she later moved to Darien, CT, where she has lived most of her life. She currently resides in Silvermine, known for it's beauty and being an artist colony.
Megan decided to concentrate on graphic design while at Parsons. There she studied under many of the great designers in the industry including Milton Glaser, Henry Wolf and Seymour Chwast. After graduation, Megan held various positions in the corporate world in New York City, including group creative director for a division of CMP Media, and as a creative services director for AIG.
In 2009 Megan launched a successful online/retail candy business called Suckerborne. It has gained national attention with an appearance on The Today Show, as well as being mentioned numerous times in print and online.
Megan's photography has been exhibited in many local galleries, as well as at the Sheila Aronson Gallery in NYC. She was also asked to be part of an exhibit at Art Basel in 2011.
